GRIN alternatives, with GRIN's real 2026 pricing
GRIN is a creator marketing platform for brands. Many "GRIN alternatives" articles still say it needs an annual contract and a sales call. That is out of date: GRIN now publishes four self-serve plans, from a free plan to $1,000 a month, billed month-to-month. Below is what GRIN costs and does, who should look elsewhere, and the alternatives that fit different jobs.
The short answer
- GRIN pricing: Free ($0), Starter $200/month, Growth $500/month, Scale $1,000/month. Month-to-month, no annual contract, 30-day free trial of Starter. Paid plans need a card up front.
- GRIN fits brands that run seeding, affiliate, paid and UGC programs on Shopify or a tracked storefront.
- Look elsewhere if you want a managed service (Aspire, Later Influence), discovery first (Modash), or creators supplied from a marketplace (Insense, Influee). For an agency workflow across many client brands, Briefbase is being built for that case and is not available yet.
What GRIN is and who it is for
GRIN describes itself as "purpose-built for creator programs". Its newer product is built around Gia, an AI agent that drafts outreach, proposes collaborations and checks submitted content against the brief, with your team approving anything that changes a contract.
Everything is organised around one brand's creator program: a creator CRM with unlimited contacts on every plan, discovery and a marketplace (GRIN cites 700K+ creators in its network), contracting, seeding, affiliate links and discount codes with GMV tracking, and payouts released through Stripe from a funded escrow wallet. GRIN says most of its customers run on Shopify, which connects in one click; other storefronts use its tracking SDK and API.
GRIN does not sell a services team, so you run the program yourself with the software. Older customers may still be on GRIN Classic, which has its own login.
GRIN pricing in 2026
GRIN's pricing page leads with "Start free, pay as you grow." Plans are priced by monthly credits, which pay for the work Gia does (creating a commission payable, for example, uses credits). Included credits do not roll over, and Free cannot buy extra credits.
| Plan | Price | What it adds |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0/month | 50 credits; creator CRM, all campaign types, affiliate links and codes |
| Starter | $200/month | 2,000 credits; Gia's Desk and customizable dashboards |
| Growth | $500/month | 7,500 credits; multiple brands, multiple currencies, paid boosting |
| Scale | $1,000/month | 20,000 credits for higher-volume programs |
Where GRIN is a poor fit
GRIN is good at what it is built for. It is less suited to three situations. If you want someone else to run the program, GRIN itself says Aspire is the better buy because GRIN does not provide a services team. If you need creators found and supplied for one-off UGC videos, a marketplace such as Insense or Influee is closer to the job. And if you are an agency producing content for many client brands, GRIN only adds multiple brands from the $500 Growth plan, and its workflow is built for a brand managing its own creators rather than an agency getting sign-off from clients.
GRIN is best for
Brands running their own creator program: seeding, affiliate links and codes, paid boosting and UGC, especially on Shopify. The free plan makes it cheap to try.
Briefbase is being built for
Small UGC agencies with their own creators, producing videos for several client brands, who need briefs, client approval links and a record of who is owed what.

See planned Briefbase pricingThe honest take
GRIN is no longer the expensive, contract-only option many comparison articles describe. For a brand on Shopify, the free plan is a low-risk place to start, and that is what we would try first. The reasons to choose something else are about the job, not the price: a managed service, discovery first, creators supplied for you, or an agency workflow built around client approvals. Briefbase is being built for that last case only, and it is not available yet.
